Utopia Projects: Creating an advertisement for your community
As the final step in your project, each group must create an enticing ad to attract others to your community.
1. Decide on the 3 key ideas that represent why your community is a utopia. For example, peace, long life, and safety OR fun, helping others and the future.
2. Now, take a look at some advertisements. Try typing "travel advertisement examples" into Google images or click here. Get an idea for how an ad tries to "sell" in a clever way, relaxing pictures, attractive words, etc.
3. You can also look at other advertisements. But then get to work on creating a final slide that will make others want to come and visit or join your community. YOUR AD WILL BE A COMBINATION OF YOUR KEY IDEAS AND PICTURES THAT MATCH THEM. Remember, you think your utopia is perfect, so get that message across in your ad.
